The Rebirth of Sanity- Phase Three: Find It!

No one accomplishes their best goals or their dreams by moving at a half-hearted pace.
No one gets what they want by hoping or wishing. Even if they do, how can we keep valued dreams if we don’t know the worth behind the blood and the sweat that it took to make them come true?

Nothing happens when we move with unsureness or with regret.
Whether the goals in our life or the dreams are as simple as waking up the next day, or if the goal and the dreams are more monumental, like getting up to walk again when the entire world says “you can’t,” nothing can be achieved without dedication or commitment.

The Rebirth of Sanity- Phase Three: No More Running Away

It is clear now that no matter how we try, there is no getting away from ourselves. Since this is true and since it is also true that we never speak to anyone more than we speak to ourselves, then we have to be more than kind. No, now is the time for us to inspire our own greatness.
Now is the time for us to be heroic and to release the hero from within. Now is the time to prioritize ourselves and give ourselves the permission to let ourselves go and set us free.
Let’s take a minute and forget about the problems at hand. Let’s put our defects to the side and stop the motion of degrading ideas that teach us about our worst or negative qualities. Let’s switch gears for a moment. Let’s take a break from the outside world and step away from the common opinions or the intrusive advice, which seems to be plentiful around us. Instead, let’s change the way we prioritize ourselves.
But wait . . .
Where does this begin?

The Rebirth of Sanity – Phase Three: Fall in Love With This Idea

We have to remember that self-care is an action. Now that we are action based, it is safe to say that our sanity is a result of our actions as well.
No?
It is safe to say that by now, no one is a stranger to the sayings “seize the day” or “dare to be great.”
We all understand the optics of a good life. We know what this looks like to us. If we don’t know what a good life looks like, we understand the meaning of motivation and the need to improve.

The Rebirth of Sanity – Phase Three: Self-Care

In the beginning, we addressed the way we thought and traced this back to where our thoughts begin. Then we moved to Phase Two, which was about action and, as expected, the next phase is a continuation of the last. This is Phase Three.
This is not just about the way we think and the way we move; but more, this is about how we move collectively and intelligently. Most of all, this is about moving effectively. This is where we move with a certain regard because as we learn to honor ourselves and as we perfect our personal best, we also learn to maintain ourselves. Maintenance is key.
Now that we are not strangers to understanding our thought machine and we have learned to diagram our thinking and map our challenges to an understandable inventory; whether we do this alone or with someone who can help us, we have come to an improved understanding of who we are and how we work. As it turns out, the reasons why we lose our temper are simple.
Now that we have taken an honest look into ourselves and stepped forward to reach an improved level of understanding, we can say that we have taken action to improve. But also, now that we have taken action and began our improvements, we have to understand that these actions are lifelong and not momentary or incidental.

The Rebirth of Sanity – Phase Two: Continuation

In continuation and in conjunction with the subject at hand, the questions still remain.
Why do people freak out? Why do we have mental breakdowns?
Why the frustration and why do we have bouts with ourselves?
Why are people so hard on themselves? And of course, if at all possible, how do we stay out of our own way?
These questions are obvious and valid. Also, it is clear to me why life can be stressful. No one is above being overwhelmed. No one is above human nature and sure, there are some who can say they live a fortunate life. In fact, we all do.

The Rebirth of Sanity – Phase Two: Accumulation

Since Phase Two is about action, then I suppose this entry is more about the quality of our actions. This is about the accumulation of our daily movements. This is what we do on a daily basis, which can be as simple as getting out of bed or brushing our teeth, to showing up for work or eating properly.
This is about our programs that help us live and build a better life. But also, this is about the realization that comes when something occurs and, finally, we see the benefits of all we’ve created.
This is about the moment when we turn around and see where we are now as opposed to where we used to be, which is far away if you ask me.
This is about our tenacity and our perseverance; and more, this is about the time when we look back at the person we used to be and we hardly recognize ourselves because we’ve come so far.

The Rebirth of Sanity- Phase Two: Worthwhileness

I have been part of what’s called the working world for more than three decades. To some people, this is a lifetime. To some, I’m still young in the game and wet behind the ears.
Of course, three decades can sum up to the simple equation of thirty years. But more to this is the value of what I’ve learned. More to it is what I’ve seen because, in my eyes, I have seen the best and the worst in this world.

The Rebirth of Sanity – Phase Two: The Company We Keep

Understand that choice is an action. Even if this seems actionless, still, the choices we make are action-packed as well as impactful on our future selves as well as our sanity.
This is important. No, really.
It is . . .
If we want to understand more about ourselves, then we can always look at the details of our old relationships. We can look back at our selections of trust or the so-called trusted people.
We can look at who we chose to include in our lives as well as who we used to listen to. This is important to understand because there are lessons here, which are valuable and life changing.

The Rebirth of Sanity – Phase Two: Being Persistent and Consistent

There is no such place as Easy Street, at least not really.
There’s no easy way to make the world go around and there’s no way to gain momentum without effort.
I’m sure that by now, everyone knows this. Yet, i think that everyone forgets this from time to time.

I have taken certain ideas into consideration, such as Newton’s first law of motion.
This is the law that says an object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will remain in motion and at the same velocity unless altered by an outside force.
But do you know what I say?
I say that this is life.

The Rebirth of Sanity – Phase Two: The Narrative

Please forgive the personal speech. However, I’ve had no choice but to insert this here because, otherwise, other voices can take hold. Therefore, I had no choice but to place this here.
Over the years, I have had to learn how to narrate my victory and hear a voice in my head which pushes me to go and dream and do; but more, this voice is what pushes me to dare and execute.
This is the talk that destroys my doubt and the voice I choose when I question my worth or my beauty and give in to the ideas that perhaps I am nothing or worse, I am weak or incapable.

I know that there’s much to contend with in life. But at the same time, I also know that my biggest obstacles are the ones that come from the deception of my perception.
I know about the challenges of mental and emotional hurdles which can evolve into physical intimidations, if I allow them.
This is why I’ve had no choice but to create this voice.
I do this because I know all about the people who talk and put others down. I used to fall victim to this. I used to persecute myself with a perceived judgment that didn’t need to belong to me.
So, to change the script and recreate my sanity, I had to find something to help me get away from this.
Where else could this come from, if not from within?
