There comes a time when we turn a corner. Life evolves as it always does.
There comes a time when we look back and realize where we’ve been and where we’ve come from.
And then we look at where we are, as oppose to where we were – and then suddenly, we’re not so bad.
We have overcome more than we could possibly consider.
And I think that’s great.

Prose from the Bucket List – You Got This
So, you want to know what makes the world tick, do you?
You want to know what’s in the sauce? Or better yet, you want to know the secret handshake that gets you through the door.
Of course, you do. Who doesn’t?
Everyone wants to be in on the secret. Everyone wants the answers to the test.
Of course we do. We all want to know how to pull a trick and we all want to know a shortcut or maybe two.
Prose from the Bucket List – It’s Launch Time
We are moving closer to the colder time of the year and that’s fine. The autumn seemed to come on quickly and it’s almost gone now – as if the autumn left like a breeze and ready or not, here it comes . . . Wintertime –
The holiday season, Christmas, the New Year will be here sooner than we think.
Soon –
There will be a new chapter and perhaps there will be new players in our life. There will be new ideas and new chances to take. There will be new opportunities that will take place and if we allow them to, these opportunities are the doors that will open because other doors shut.
Prose from the Bucket List – Now!
That’s the thing about life. There’s so much going on at once.
There are the basic things and good things and scary things and unsure things.
We have mysteries. We have questions. We have worries and unsolvable riddles.
We have thoughts and concerns, notions and curiosities and suspicions.
Life, right?
This is it.
This is us.
Live and in-person.
Prose from the Bucket List – Go At It
There is something I have come to understand about myself.
I am someone that needs a project. I need work. I need something to focus on and plan for because otherwise, the mind can wander and thoughts can drift. I give myself projects because the projects have value and the value improves my worth.
Understand?
I have lived long enough to know and understand the things that either help me or hurt me.
As I see it, whatever we do in life either brings us one step closer to our goals or this pushes us further away.
Prose from the Bucket List – Sunday Morning’s Pep Talk
And no one knows what they’ll do or say.
Nobody knows how they will truly react until it’s real or until life is happening and it’s all live and in-person. This is what comes down when life is face-to-face and happening.
It’s not a dream or a thought anymore.
It’s not a fear or a fantasy.
No, this is life.
No one knows what it’s like to pull the trigger, so-to-speak.
Until they have to.
And life….
Crazy, isn’t it?
Prose from the Bucket List – Opening Up
So, in the end, what do we want?
What does anybody want, anyway?
Do we know?
Are we sure?
Or wait –
Is the answer to this simple or obvious?
Even better, are the answers to the above questions something which is all too confusing because there it is.
It’s right here – the answer, I mean.
All we wanted was right here, this whole time. And it’s always been right here.
Prose from the Bucket List – Innocuous Rambles From Me to You
The following thoughts come from scribbled down notes that were collected from random sheets of paper and even some from a brown paper bag – so I wouldn’t forget them when I came here to speak with you.
These are thoughts. That’s all.
Stream of consciousness, unfiltered and uncensored.
These are parts that I wanted to put together, like a puzzle – I suppose.
In fact, what I am about to expose are thoughts that spanned throughout an otherwise rough day or a sleepless night of reflection and soul-searching.
These thoughts which I connected from tiny blurbs are some of my views that came out from my heart and onto paper, almost like a vomitus spew, which is gross but to purge more than to be obscene, I realize it’s impossible to rest when my thoughts spin too quickly.
So, I had to find that special relief valve in my head – (so I can sleep).
I write this with intention.
Although this might appear to be scattered thinking, still, my hope is that you will find this entry as heartfelt and hopeful.
Please . . .
Prose from the Bucket List – Just to Lighten the Mood a Little
I believe it was Robert Plant who said, “Does anybody remember laughter,” when he would sing the song, Stairway to Heaven, live and on stage.
Does anybody remember laughter?
What a great question.
Prose from the Bucket List – Butterflies
Let’s not mix words anymore.
Let’s be clear on this.
Let’s see what’s in front of us right now.
It has been decades now – the world we live in is changing.
No one is getting younger – least of all me.
Life has changed and currently, life is still changing. Life will always change.
I know that.
