And I say this to you, despite the craziness of all the things around me . . . the morning is perfect.
Nothing is pressing and nothing is weighing too heavy at the moment.
The day is young and fresh, as if to just be born or perhaps I should say the day is born again.
And for now, this is more than good enough.
For now, everything is perfect.
I love it when the full moon stays around to watch the sun come up. I love it when the early dawn changes the horizon. Last night’s rain has wet the streets but the clouds show relief and the heat has broken, at least, for now.
It is morning.
Well, no.
It is Friday morning, to be exact,
I pushed the magic button on my coffee machine.
I love when the coffee enters my mouth and I can taste the flavor and prepare for the caffeine to do its trick.
I like the momentary quiet which takes place before the day takes over. I love it when the morning is still new and life has yet to gain momentum.
I love how the possibilities are endless because for the moment, the emails and the work machine are quiet. The animals are still in their cages and the human resources, or the upper levels and the managerial teams, and the so-called powers that be are elsewhere for the moment.
Nothing is so wrong. No one has triggered me yet and my contempt for things, like, say, the so-called “know-it-all” bosses who know nothing about what I do and yet they stroll in with their opinions and the bullshit drama has yet to make a move.
There are no arguments at the moment, except for the ones in my head and at the same time, my thought machine has yet to build up speed or cause me to think about arguments that do not exist.
All is quiet
The sun is taking over and the horizon is glowing in shades of orange and purple. And perhaps this is what some people call the quiet before the storm.
Maybe . . .
Maybe there is something in store for me.
Maybe there’s some kind of wonderful thing about to take place.
Maybe there will be some kind of final or permanent goodbye, which closes a door so that another door can open.
Or maybe the Universe will be kind to me today. Maybe something miraculous is around the corner.
Or even if something tragic is about to take place, maybe the tragedy is only a temporary detour and destiny and fate knew this needed to happen. So, destiny and fate placed their temporary tragedies in front of me to save me from myself or from someone else
It’s crazy to think how the summer is halfway through and September is on its way.
September . . .
This means I survived another trip around the sun
54 years. . .
I don’t know what’s on the way. I don’t know what’s in the mail and I can’t say that I know or that I have seen how the sausage is made, so-to-speak.
All I know is for now, the moon waited around to watch the sun come up. The sky is beautiful.
The winds are calm and perfect.
Maybe something good is on the way. . .
Maybe today is the day that all things change.
Maybe . . .
But for now, I think I’ll let the moment be good enough and sufficient for itself.
For now, I think I’ll enjoy the quiet and leave the thought machine alone.
I think I will let the day fall where it may.
And just so you know . . .
God, I love you.
I hope you saw the sunrise wherever you are
And I hope that it was just as beautiful to you as it was for me
This is for you
. . . .my love
